I am looking at buy a tank, the LFS has a 120 and 125 gal for the same price.

The 120 is 48x24x24 and the 125 is 72x18x22. The question I am asking is which one would work out the best. :?:

I have enough space for either one. I am thinking about the 125, since I have more surface space for oxygen.

Any suggestions??

Thanks, Roger

No contest...go with the 125. The increased surface area and the much easier maintenance make it the better choice IMO.

What everybody else said, plus the 125 will also span more floor joists, distributing the weight better.

Another vote for 125. I LOVE mine! Same dimensions as the one you quote. That's a 125 long tank. There's another that's not quite as long and taller instead. Too hard to do maintenance (I'm already too short for the 125 and need a stupid ladder!)
