45 half hex reef lights

Any lights for a reef tank for a 45 half hex. Is the par 30 bulb good

For what? What are you keeping in the tank?

you will need more light than that. I would get the light you will ultimately need now, instead of buying twice.

Okay so the 45 gallon reef is a no go. I got the tank and it came with everything, including 5 fancy tailed goldfish . I had to put them in my 20 gallon freshwater tank for now, so I`ll be upgrading that. Would that light work for a 20 gallon

I would still want something stronger. That's good for about a 5 gallon.

The taotronics would work...and would work if you upgraded too...
Youd just have to keep them dimmed.
