Just added carpet plants hope they do well without co2
Some a.r. and eleocharis acicularis

So the tag on the tissue culture for Eleocharis acicularis said easy which seems to be not right what is y'all's experience with this tiny little grass
Also added some alternanthera reinecki. This red plant said intermediate so I hope it will do ok with out co2. I have root tabs ferts and high lights.

Hairgrass is not an easy plant in my experience. Did very well with soil base for me.

It might also prefer cooler temps and virtually no light as it grew very well over winter in a murky bucket of water. Far better than my tank [emoji38]





I have no real advice other than I suspect it prefers a nutrient dense substrate.

Eleocharis parvula might be easier and was more prevalent a few years ago. It seems to have been replaced with E.Acicularis more recently. As for the other plants

The Alternanthera will
Likely need co2 to thrive.
