5 Gallon Stocking

Thinking of going with a single male betta, but any other suggestions about stocking? Not very interested in shrimp... Could I do two female betta? Or is it simply not enough room?

I would just stick with the.one if my imput means much lol

Two females would continuously pick on each other in any size tank. Best to sick to just the one, male or female.

I agree with Mumma. If you want a sorority tank you need at least 3, preferrably more, female bettas. 5 gallons won't support that. I think a flashy male betta would be fine for a 5 gallon tank.

Throw a snail in with him. They are fun to watch glide around.
