Hey guys, just tested phosphates for the first time with my new hanna egg tester, and it's a 1.15..
I tested the NSW I use from my LFS and it's phosphates are .04, and the RO water is 0.0.
I'm assuming it's not the water I'm using causing the high phosphates as the level is only .04 in the NSW, which shouldn't cause a high reading of 1.15 should it?
If not, what else in a new tank could be causing high phosphate? I've got algae ATM on the back and side glass, which you can just barely see on the photo.
