okay so my 55g is still cycling but what do you think of my stocking plans:
- 1 maroon clown fish
- 3 chromis
-a starry blenny
- yellow watchman goby (or some other type of goby)
- sea hare
- cleaner shrimp
- cleaner wrasse
- perhaps a starfish
please give any advice/suggestions you have thanks :)

Get 2 ocellaris clowns cuz that way u get the pair and they are usually smaller and more peacefull and imo they look nicer

My plan for my 55g, which is about to the cycling stage is:

Flame Angel
2 Oscellaris Clowns
Six-Line Wrasse
Longnose Hawkfish
Some kind of goby/blenny

good to know about the starfish.. what kind do you think i should get?

If this is a reef build then get a brittle starfish. If not you can start off with a easy care one like a chocolate chip starfish

If you plan to get corals, then a starfish is not a good idea.

The Sea Hare, is another concern, as they start like 2" and grow to 6 or 8" which is quite large for a 55 gal. They will wipe your algae out quick, and you will need to feed algae / seaweed sheets regularly.

Yah no stars in reef usually and as for your stock list i would go with a bi-colored blenny they look nice, are inexpencive and are good with reefs, also they love to clean some algea off the rocks and glass and sand for you!
