OK cool that simplifies things so much more thank you for that oh Its bugging me having to wait lol if I was able to get plants right now that would keep me occupied lol

Haha patience is a virtue, I definitely don't have any. Plants would help with your cycle too

OK tested today was busy all weekend
Results were
PH: 7.2
Ammo: 0 ppm dosed back up to 4
Nitrite: 5 ppm still able to read on chart
Nitrate: 40 ppm

Will test again when I'm off work

At lest I know the cycle is going good now the ammonia is dropping fast but not the nitrites just yet once I get some plants I think that will speed it up tremendously

Nitrite: 5+ ppm
Nitrate: 160 ppm or higher I'm doing a 50% water change right now to bring levels down to be able to read them better and will dose again

OK I forgot to test yesterday my bad :hide: anyways tested today
PH: 7.6 went up
Ammo: 0.25 ppm dosed back up again
Nitrites: between 2-5 went down a little nitrates: 40 ppm looks like the cycle is going by quickly and smoothly the ammonia is dropping from 4 to .25 ppm in two days nitrites not quite there yet should be soon though

I made my aquarium stand all fakey. Cinder blocks covered in handmade wood box then covered in fabric. Looks super nice, even though duct tape and gravity keeps the fabric on. :)

PH: between 6.6-6.8
ammo: 0ppm
Nitrite: 1ppn
nitrate still in 40pom range
Dosed ammonia again will test again tomorrow

Results:
PH: 6.0 shot down doing water change to buffer hopefully not to late
Ammonia: .25pon
Nitrite: .5-1ppm went down good sign
Nitrate: 80ppm

An update I'm still battling a pH drop currently with large water changes I'm still trying to figure out if this is fungus

To help buffer the pH I went to my LFS to get crushed coral couldn't afford the large bag so for a just few bucks I got a couple pounds of the solid stuff and broke a few small chunks off and put it in
