60 gallon; 3 tier; waterfall tank

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Decor and sub-straight added. Filter came from another tank; so no/little cycling should be needed.

Fish have been added, but these fish are just on display for re-homing. The final "flock" are waiting in their original tanks for these guys to "move out". (don't worry, if no good homes can be found they will have a place here)

True inspiration... get's us thinking about creative ideas of our own. Great Job. Excellent tank... I'm sure you could create/sell those in a heart beat.

Before you change the waterfalls, give it some time.
When I first moved to Oregon, we lived with my parents. Outside my bedroom window was my Moms pond with a waterfall and frogs galore. At first I thought I would never sleep again. After a week or so I started to fall asleep faster and stay asleep better. Sometimes I would turn out all the lights and light a few candles and just listen.
The we got a place of our own which I thought would be great, NOT.
It drove me insane for the first couple of months because there was no waterfall and no noisy frogs. I finally had to get one of those mini fountains so I could sleep decently again.
So unless the waterfall is splashing so much you are getting water all over the floor, you may want to find out if it will help you sleep.
It's kind of a Zen like way to fall asleep.

I think you might be on to something. I think I've been sleeping much sounder these last few nights.

Still the primary goal is to see the fish. The water ripples make it difficult; but more waterflow yield less turmoil, less ripple, and reduced (not zero) noise.
