thanks. I just redid the DW a few days ago, felt like trying to go mostly vertical this time. I feel it came out really well, and the fish are more visible now, before they where not so much but they still have places to hide out and to break line of sight.
I really like the ntire contrast in the tank. It sits on a black stand, the tank itself has the faux wood borders, uses black sand, and is filled iwth brown driftwood and high lighting, really highlighting the green plastic plants. (cant do real plants in this tank....plus dont wanna deal with it on this scale!)
oh for right now, the stocking list is as follows:
2 Bichirs, Polypterous Senegalus
1 Striped Raphael
1 Spotted Raphael
1 Black Bullhead Catfish
1 Common Pleco
1 Bristlenose Pleco
2 Silver Dollars
1-2 Otos
1 Pictus Cat
Apple Snails (dont know how many, they bred a while back I sold most of the few hundred I had, so maybe a dozen or so left)
whatever ghost shrimp havent been eaten yet, maybe a dozen or so
I know the stocking sounds heavy, but nothing is near full grown, the bichirs are 6-7 inches, the pleco is about 8 inches, the bullhead is about 6 inches, well, t he striped raphael is full grown at about 6 inches
