a few questions about my mushrooms

Appreciate the help and any advice.
Got this watermellon mushroom colony about 2weeks ag and I dont no much about corals yet so I though here b a good place to start.
I have noticed this morning a small mushroom head looking thing and was looking to see if I am right



Secondly when my mushrooms raised like this and I can see the part that attached to the rock is this a good thing, does it mean it feeding??




Here is what my mushroom colony looked like 2weeks ago, I have to say I am really proud of how well my corals r doing
