The ever-attractive method of drip acclimation is nice.

I personally am not equipped to drip, so I adjust my shrimp to the temperature and slowly add tank water to their bag.

I eventually after I've doubled the water in my bag, let them swim out on their own.

All you need to drip acclimate is a piece of airline tubing, 2 containers and some tape.

I usually do the 'add a little water every couple of minutes' thing myself, there's only a very few species of fish that I will drip acclimate because of the vast difference in the pH they came from to that in my tanks.

I just don't have the airline pipe nor do I have two even small containers. I mean I know they're inexpensive, but with all my aquarium equipment, I try to be a minimalist as much as I can.

So yeah the baggie thing is great for me. I've not lost many from it at least.
