adding more water

Hello all. I'm getting another map turtle on Wednesday he's 2 years old and my water isn't deep enough so I going to add another 50% water to my 200 liter tank to make it deeper for him. My tank is due for it 20% water change aswell. My question is shall I do the water change then add the extra water or just add the water and not worry about the water change for another week? And is my tank going to do a mini cycle again?

Thank you for the reply I'll do that tomorrow then. Is my tank likely to do a water cycle again because of the extra water volume?

I've had the tank running for a month now and it's nice and settled

No as long as the filter media stays the same
