I'm moving up from a 29G tank to a 75G tank in the very near future and i'm in need of some recommendations. From the research i've done it sounds ideal to be using like a fluval 406 and an aquaclear 110. As much as i'd love to do that, its more $ than I want to spend because I have a lot of initial purchases I have to make in order to get the tank up and running. On craigslist I found somebody selling a barely used fluval 405 for $60, and I currently have an AC50 on my 29g so I was thinking about using those, atleast temporarily. I'd like to find something effective but at the same time cheap(I usually order everything from amazon) ...Im still fairly new at all this so any suggestions are appreciated!

The barely used 405 sounds like a good way to go. You will be in good shape with that and the AC50. Sounds like a great price, and fluvals are reliable, so it ought to give you many years of use.
