What would be good live plants to put in with African cichlids? I'm looking for a plant or two (the more the better) that doesn't need a lot of lighting and is not relatively hard to take care of. The tank size is 46 gallons, with a H.O.T Magnum filter.

Anubias Varients are extremely durable, low maintenance, African and most pages I read say the don't get eaten because thier leaves are so tough.

That would be my recommendation ( I have 3 Anubias nana and 4 Anubias Barteri var Barteri) and they are doing very well even in lower lights they do very well.

edit: http://www.aquariumadvice.com/viewtopic.php?t=39189 <- beautiful job, and hosts african cichlids.
