Hi. My 9 year old, 16" pleco has become aggressive. He goes after my angelfish a lot, but also the 3 small fish too. They have all been tank mates for many years with no problem. Does anyone know why my beloved pleco would suddenly become aggressive? What can I do about it? Is there any place that will take big plecos? I love him, but I don't want all my other fish living in fear.
I have a 55g tank, I put a big piece of maponi in the tank last week. The first time ever that I've had wood in my tank. I hoped it would calm pleco down, but it hasn't.
