Aquarium Advice Freak
i counted about 7 snails inside of my allglass megaflow filter today, and they're all in the part that's hardest for me to get to (the part where the tube connects from the aquarium to the filter). i see i have a little bit of plant leaves sticking out one of the slits in the tube, and i'm thinking there could have been eggs on those plants. so that means i could have snail eggs inside the tube! :x
i plan on disconnecting the tube and cleaning it out, but do you guys think their could be an easier way than that? it's gonna be an absolute pain to disconnect all that and stop the filter, if i can avoid it that would be great
my dad is debating on using salt to kill them, and just concentrating all of the salt inside of the filter area...do you guys suppose that could work? i honestly have no idea...it's late and i don't really feel like checking random internet sites on the matter when i can just easily ask you guys and re check the post tommorrow morning of course!
