air stones

I just switched from fake to live plants. Should I still have an air stone or bubbler in the tank or does it not matter?
 
I don't think it matters, in 2 of my planted tanks and they are no different from my planted with no bubbler.
 
It really doesn't matter unless you decide later on to get CO2, then you don't run an airstone while CO2 is running. If you like it leave it, if not there really is no need for it.
 
You would need to have med to high light, several plants, and a lot of other things. If you just started adding plants you need to learn what type of lighting you have... low, medium, or high, then begin researching plants that grow best in the type of lighting you have. Just keep researching what the plants you have need for light and fertilizers. Don't get ahead of yourself as you'll only get confused.
