Algea?

Is this red stringy stuff a bacteria or algea? Can someone help me please. I can't figure out how to get rid of it

Is it sheetlike or is it slimy? Sheetlike good, slimy bad.

I have this too, not sure what it is. It's growing on sand, rock and equipment. When I blow it off with a pipette, it comes off in sheets. I assumed its cyano but it's not slimy.

It looks almost like grass blowing in the wind but some spots are slimy

What's weird is most of mine is growing directly in front of a powerhead.

Oh and I almost forgot. It's not really slimy when I wake up but when I come home from work after my lights being on all day spots have red slime covering it.
