Already read the FAQ's, but anyone have really good getting started articles/books?

Hi guys,

I want to start a reef tank (nothing extravagant, I was looking at one of the Biocubes or piecing together a kit). This would be a project for the future and not even anytime soon.

My question is what is everyones favorite (and reliable) getting started articles / books?

I've found several getting started articles but the information in them varies and being a beginner, I can't tell what is good information and what is bad, so I thought I'd ask here.

I've already read the articles on the stickies but they're more for particular problems, not for starting from scratch (unless I missed one).

Thanks. Those were the ones I already read though :/

I didn't see anything about starting from scratch, most assume some knowledge.

I was looking for more something explaining how to purchase equipment, the type of equipment to look for, how to start cycling (that was in the articles), how to know what kind of fish to add etc.
