I saw a yellow/green anenome with purple tips at my lfs for really cheap! They labeled it as a sebae anenome. I was wondering does anyone know the kind of sebae it is? Also what are the requirements and food for sebae anenomes? I really want to get it but want to do research on it first.

Here is an informative link.

Sebaes are a more difficult species. I haven't been able to keep any alive at all. When choosing one, the darker the better. Alot of the white ones are bleached out and dying, which I found out the hard way.

The sebae anemone is H. crispa, there are no alternate names. They come in many variations. Sebaes require bright light and will often move to a high spot in your tank. They really don't need to be fed, but an occasional snack won't hurt of course.

It is recommended that you add those to mature tanks. Usually 6-12 months. Most folks say at least 1 year.
