It appears my two Angel fish have been struck with hemorraghic septicemia (pectoral fins, at their body, are blood red....red streaks along their spine...the larger Angel fish also seems to have it behind its mouth). Either I introduced the bacterial infection with two new smaller angel fish (bought from my locak LFS about three weeks) or the two were stressed out from having their first bout of eggs.

I've just finished treating the tank with Maracyn; their symptoms seem to be abating (blood streaks seem to be fading).

Two questions:

1) If they don't return to normal soon (what would be a good time frame?), should I treat again with Maracyn and Maracyn 2?

2) After using Maracyn, should I be changing/cleaning my filter media?

Thanks....
