Just had a bunch of this thrown at me and have no idea what it is!! It's a really nice bright green, hopefully it stays the color !!!

Money wort is what this plants called. It's a great floating plant and will spread all over.

Thank You !!! I was begining to think I'd stumped the experts here !! :lol:

Not knowing what it was,I went ahead and buried it in the substrate !!! Will it root or is it strictly a floater ??

Thanks again !! I have this thing about knowing every plant that's in my tank !!

You can plant it and if it doesnt do well, it will break free of the stem and float on its own. People do it either way and its a pretty hardy plant, so you should do fine with it. Pennywort and Moneywort are very similar so if you do a quick google search you can see how others have planted it. Its a cool plant, I may go get some today. ;)
