Just got some guppies and mollies today I'll try and get some pics. I'm not sure what I got since I bought them from a friend who had a sorted tank got them home late last night and didn't get a chance to look at them all haha

You can't just mix guppies, it took decades to set the line he is, now they are just gonna be mutts. Not gonna be any "breeders". Look at my youtube page matt_cissna. That is the kind of female you need, half black red.

Using a half black red will damage the strain...you need to put a female closest in colour to him...the best femalebto put is a half black or full black or a bluebmoscow female...

Unless you are buying pure strain Guppies, there is no need to get exact female colors. Any Guppies coming out of an Assorted tank are mutts. It doesn't mean they're not pretty. It doesn't mean it can't be used for breeding. If you are breeding for exact colors and attributes then you might want to look on Aquabid and get pure strain guppies. Once you know more.
Or check with your local aquarium club and you might find a Guppy breeder nearby with some nice fish.
