Anyone heard of this fish

My gf came home and had me look up a blobfish wow look it up lol

Heard of it only through the internet. Found off the coast of Australia and Tasmania. Extremely rare supposedly.

The thing gives me the creeps every time I come across it. I guess it's pretty in a fugly sort of way...lol.

It's a deep water marine fish. Wikipedia says that the blobfish's body is slightly less dense than seawater, so it can float without a gaseous swim bladder.
