Apple Snails??

We brought home a beautiful purple apple snail today. Wasn't a planned purchase (I know my bad) I know they love spinach and that's about all I know about these guys. So please post anything or everything you know.. I'm like a dry sponge here ready to absorb

If I'm not mistaken, some will eat plants. Sorry, other than that I don't know much about them either

The kind I have don't eat plants. They just wander around eating algae and looking beautiful. They eat algae off the plants but don't damage the plants themselves. Very helpful little gardeners.
