Aquatop External UV Canister Filter

Hello,
Thinking about adding a secondary filter and just wondering if anyone here has experience with this canister filter Aquatop External UV Canister Filter - CF-400 UV, and would the UV be a problem for a planted tank?. Thanks in advance

I think adding a second filter is a great idea. Can't comment on that filter type. One canister filter I have has a uv unit. IMO it is a waste of space in the filter, I have a separate uv unit but have no trouble in planted tanks with it.

Thanks for the reply, I ended up ordering the sun sun version of it. Mainly just wanted to replace my current secondary a HoB and I figure for 80 bucks it is worth giving it a shot.
