Aquarium Advice Freak
Hy guys I hve a 55 gallon, with seven fish..... I have a fluval 405 and I got a aqueon 55 quiet flow.... In my fluval the media is the sponges, one basket for clear max, one for carbon, and the other two for biomax.... The aqueon 55 has two cartridges that contain carbon as well.... I understand I really don't need carbon so I was wondering if I should throw a bag or two of biomax in the aqueon... I don't care if I have to get the aquaclear bio max .... I was thinking that it would give my aqueon a chance to capture more beneficial bacteria... Bc aqueon only has the carbon cartridges..... I don't mind even if I have to take the cartridges out and replace then with bags of biomax....I would try to post a video later this week to better clarify....please give some ideas.....
