Are my clowns sick?

I bought two clown loaches this las Saturday. They have spent three days in my 55 gallon planted community tank. This morning I woke up, and they are both sitting on the top of the tank heater and not very active. I moved one to my smaller 16 gallon tank to see if he livens up, and left the other in the 55. What are your thoughts? should I move them both? is it still too soon to tell?

Your thoughts and ideas are appreciated.

How did you acclimate them? It sounds like either they are adjusting to your water or perhaps you bought sick fish. You should have qt them for a few weeks before introducing them to your main tank to rule out any possible illnesses as a precaution. I would honestly move them both to the smaller tank to be safe.
