What is Aroganite ? Can this be used along with sand ?

Aragonite is sand that is calcium-based.

argonite sand is the type you want to use in a marine aquarium, because it helps keep the water properly buffered.
Aragamax sand by carib-sea is a popular brand...but if you're lucky you can find Old Castle or SouthDown brand playsand at your local Lowe's/Home Depot, which is a heck of a lot cheaper.
