Babytears on driftwood

So i purchased some babytears and i just wanna know if i put it on driftwood will it spread all over the wood. ? I know how to tie it on and i have T5 lighting. Also getting fertilizer soon. How rapidly would they spread on wood? And do the roots take over all the cracks and holes in the wood?

I don't think HC really has anything that will adhere to drift wood. You would have better luck with a moss species, or fissidens.
