So I have a 50gallon moderately planted tank Ive already transferred to the new condo, only to find out the water is extremely poor compaired to the easy peesy water conditions I used to have. Before I carry out a water change I wanted some advice.
Water condition currently (from old condo and in tank):
Ph 7.0
Alkalinity 90ppm
Hardness 275mg
Chlorine 0
New water:
Ph 8.2
Alkalinity 180 ppm
Hardness 1090mg
And clorinated
Current stock:
2 Bolivian rams
2 Angelfish
10 Lemon Tetras
6 Panda Corys
Its a given Ill need to declorinate before a water change, but is there anything else to do to make this easier on the fish? The Ph and hardness worry me a bit.
