Balloon ram weird

Is something wrong with my balloon ram?
Looks like the anus is pulling back out..

Sounds like it. But this one is eating, and poops. I guess once the damage is done, there is no turning back?

I'm honestly not sure on recovery. From memory reading suggested it was possible it could sort itself out.

Maybe 50:50 but no idea if it was then an ongoing issue.
