Has anyone had any experience with banana plants? If so, what were the conditions you were able to get them to grow under. I get a kick out of the way hey look and was wondering if I could support them in one of my tanks.

I am the god of Nymphaea...including banana plants...they touch my tanks and the explode into growth...no idea why. My best banana plant tanks have about 2wpg and sponge filters with pH neutral water.

I've never seen pics of banana plants elsewhere with lillypads running wild like mine, so it's been a pleasant surprise.

You haven't because I haven't posted pics of mine yet.. Seriously, mine do the same thing, and without any special care, so I must assume that the tanks I have them in must simply have ideal conditions.
