Base rock

Just bought my first piece of base rock. It's cut to fit in a corner. So excited to rearrange my LR to fit it in

I would cycle the rock first or it could cause a mini cycle

Eh I went straight in. Tested last night and its good so far

Base rok should be fine to put straight in. There's nothing to die off and case ammonia. If you were adding a lot at once, it might possibly cause an issue, but 1 piece should be fine.
