Hello! I was just wondering what's the best way to add a school of 8-10 fish to a tank without overloading the bioload and causing a mini-cycle (tank in question would be a 20 gal). Once the fish have finished quarantine should I do a gradual add (like 2+2+2+2 or 4+4) while constantly checking water parameters to determine when to add? Would it be recommended to piggyback several established filters on the tank to help deal with the increased bioload? And lastly, all I have right now to use as a quarantine tank is a 5 gal, is that too small for a temp quarantine for a school of 8 or so small tetras?
Thanks!
Thanks!
