I have just introduced a male betta to the tank. There was a blue dwarf gourami already in there. in the past hour the betta has started displaying and chasing the gourami.will this settle down or should i remove the betta?
There are two fan tail guppies in the tank as well but it seems to be the gourami that the betta is after.

I personally wouldn't keep a Betta with any Gouarmi. Both of these fish are labyrinth fish which means they both breath air at the surface. Chances are good that this behavior will continue and perhaps even get worst as time goes on. Also, the Betta may start chasing the Guppies or vice versa. Generally, it's best to keep male Bettas by themselves, although there are some exceptions to this rule. :)
