Betta tank mates

What would be some good betta tank mates for a 23 gallon tank?

mollies or platies and some black khuli loaches would be fine also snail or two

It all depends on the temperament of the betta but imo neon tetras work nicely snails too shrimp can be hit or miss again depends on the betta plus make sure any tankmates arent fin nippers

What about angles in a 55 I was considering a betta?

I personally think that mixing a betta with cichlids is potentially asking for a showdown. That being said, both betta and cichlids have such a range of personalities that you can't make any for sure generalizations about things like this. In the end it will come down to the personalities of the fish involved.

Be sure that any and all tank mates go in the tank BEFORE the betta.
