Hey guys

after everyones input here; I have decided to listen to you all and get rid if my bio balls. I have purchased the matrix and crushed corrals (total 10kg) but what I want to know is... When I make the switch will my tank need to re cycle from scratch? Everything is running smoothly in my tank as it is and it has finished cycling months ago but just worried that I will need to start the whole process again. As it stands I have about 40-45 kg of live rock and my tank is 300 litres (about 75gallons) and my bio balls are in the sump. I have a skimmer in the sump aswell and only 2 chromis fish. (I think thats what it's called)

Thanks

-Danny

You will not have to start the whole process over again. You can replace the bio balls gradually instead of all at once, which will eliminate the chance of a mini cycle occurring.

Ok cool.. thanks for that.

So far everything looks good. Tank is Bice and clear now.

I put 3kgs if matrix and 5kg of crushed corals with a block of bio pure media aswll.

Appreciate very ones help on here. Great forum and great people

Thanks heaps

-Danny
