Black sand

Does anyone know a good place to get black sand? I really don't want to pay 16.99 for 12 lbs of sand at petsmart but I want to shock my sister with an amazing tank for her, so ideas would be very helpful.

I use Tahian Moon sand and Drfostersmith had it on sale for $15 for 20lbs.
