bottom feeder help

looking for really good bottom feeders for sand substrate in a 60g tank any suggestions???

i should mention that I have a 8" severum in my tank and a 9" pearl geophagus

would any kind of loaches work with the sand and do a good job of feeding off of the sand?

Polka dot loaches would be the best option in my opinion.

Maybe consider some Malaysian trumpet snails.

Geophagus tend to be bottom feeders/scavengers themselves, so I would limit how many more bottom feeders you add to the mix. Any of the medium sized loaches should do fine though (avoid huge loaches like Clowns). MTS work too (don't add on top of the loaches since loaches will decimate them, do either or), but will tend to be predated on. They breed fast enough that they should make it as long as you add a large batch to start with.

If you have larger fish try some Crayfish they are fun to watch and to catch!!
