Do regular brains (not open brains) need intense MH light or can they thrive with pc's

by the way i currently have LPS's, an anenome, and Softs zoos and mushrooms, all of which are doing good.

I have a Favia sp. under 2X96W PC's in my 80 gal tank. The tank itself has 4 X 96W PC's but the coral is only under two of them. Its been there for 6 months or so. I havnt noticed alot of growth out of it but its also not showing signs of poor health.
