Does It hurt anything to have brass connectors in the waterline "before" the water enters the RO unit? Will the RO unit filter out any metals that might leach into the incoming water? I am having trouble finding plastic connectors that will hook up to my water line under the kitchen sink the only ones that will work are all brass. Thanks...

Most water lines are cooper or brass, so its going to be pretty hard to avoid not having it. In many cases the RO unit should rid of cooper and other elements depending on what RO unit you have purchased and quality of your water before the RO unit.

What kind of connector does everyone else use? I am having a "very" hard time finding a connector that will adapt into my cold water line without using a brass saddle valve. If anyone has a picture that would be great. I am Idiot when it come to plumbing. Thanks....

My is stainless at the cold water supply with plastic fittings at the Ro unit..

im not really sure that will matter cuzz all the pipes that lead to ur house are going to be copper anyways, so ur not really able to avoid ur water having those elements.
