Can I leave the male in the breeding tank w a holding female or will this stress the female out ? Its a 10 gallon, yellow lab breeding pair

So is the ten gallon the tank they live in or the tank ur going to let the mom spit? If it is a fry tank leave the mom by herself the male will stress her after she spits put her back in the main tank and feed her and everything will be back to normal
