Bubbles??

I have a 10gal planted tank and it's going now for about a week and a half but I have this build up of bubbles by my filter. What is that caused by?

What does the tank look like? Substrate, decorations, etc? I've had that happen when I used some cheap petco gravel once. I think it might have something to do with the protective coating that certain products come with.

I'm using fluval planted aquarium substrate it's a 10gal tetra half-moon tank. With the stock heater and filter

Any fake plants? Whats that rock made out of?

All real plants and it doesn't say

Is it an actual rock though?

It probably will pass in time. If it sticks around more than a few weeks, you might start digging deeper.

It's a piece of plastic from the pet store to look like wood.

is there a beta in the tank? it may be the betas bubble nest

No Bettas. Just ghost shrimp and red fire shrimp and blue dolphins

Did you rinse the substrate? I always had that when I'd toss in substrate without rinsing.
