building sump for my tank

ill see if my LFS has any. this is what they use in their sumps so thats what i bought. but variety is always a good thing.

I thought that two i started with chaeto thought huhm ill add caulerpa in bout two months the caulerpa took over fugi killing chaeto and also some made its way to display no matter how much i pull out by hand its rooted there and wont stop growing its starting to kill some zoas this is my experience when i had just chaeto no issues and it did great on nutrient export

That's why I'm going with chaeto all the way! I had some razor capulara on a piece of live rock I bought and it was literally impossible to get rid of. I dried that rock out and let everything die off and boiled it a few times before putting it back in my tank and its been gone since! Its now live rock again with some zoa frags glued to it!
