Burning Incense with aquarium in the room?

Is it a bad idea to burn incense in the same room the aquarium is in? Will the smoke pollute the water in the tank? Anyone?

I know cigerette and cigar smoke is bad for aquariums. I dont think it would be a huge problem if you dont do it all the time.

I used to burn incense around my tanks all the time. I never had any problems. Scented oil burners and candles have never given me trouble either. Just be careful with any air freshener sprays, etc.

I would say try not to keep it too close to the tank, but I burn stuff as well (incense, candles) and I haven't had any problems yet. Ciggarette and cigar smoke = nasty and not good for anything IMO but I'm not a smoker lol
