Buying a new tank

Getting a new 55 gal tank whats a good average price i have found some for 140$ is that decent ?

Petsmart does run regular sales on tanks with lid and light for a good price. I got my 40 breeder from there with a nice light and lid for $100. A decent light and lid in itself is pretty pricey. I think they had a 55 combo for about $140 or so.. That was a few weeks ago, I can't remember off the top of my head.

Ehh. Might just be cheaper to get a kit than go for the $1/gallon sale anyways.
gotta think $55 for the tank, plus paying for a filter, hood, lighting, etc. You'd end up spending more than $150 in the long run if it is quality equipment...
But I personally cannot tell you how good of price $150 is, the biggest tank I have right now is a 26 and bought that on craigslist for $20

Craigslist is your friend. People by me are selling maaassiive tanks for cheap.
