One of my serpae tetras has just about all the symptoms of Neon Tetra Disease - VERY pale color, thin, spine looks like it's starting to curve.

I don't have ANY Neons - haven't for many, many years.

Can serpaes get NTD? I've read differing opinions...

Also, if it's NOT NTD, what could it be and how to treat? I wish I could get a pic, but this fish is in a well-populated 45 g tank. Poor thing looks soooooooo pale and terrible, I'm considering euthanizing it...

HELLLLLLLLLPPP!

As far as I know other fish that aren't neons can't get NTD. It could have parasites. Try putting the fish in a QT tank and treating with something for internal parasites to see if it improve.
