Cannot build sand up in new mudskipper tank

Hi

I have decided to finally to go for a mudskipper tank. Have done the research and know that they need about two thirds land to water.

Ive bought some sand but I cannot for the life of me get to build up and it just keeps going flattish.

How can I get this to stay put and build it up? Anyone have any advice??

I don't have experience with mudskippers but a turtle raft might work if you're trying to include land. Don't know how successful it would be though.
Good luck, I wanted some of these fish but I decided to set up a mbuna tank instead. It should be a cool tank!
I would look at some mudskipper tanks on YouTube, that might help you figure out how to set it up.
