Wow, that's interesting!

Thanks for posting the article, I never would have believed you, lol

Only extremely small fry and similar sized critters would be in any danger from this plant.

I am growing that stuff in a couple tanks ATM. ;-) Very tricky to get planted and started. I will share pics once they are growing in a bit.

It's easy to grow also, a little like Hair grass of Miocro sword.
I use ADa As only and it's taken off nicely.

No trimming!!!

Grows about 1-2" tall max.

And you can sell it for $$ and trades etc.

I have a 6 gal filled with it as the only main plant.

Regards,
Tom Barr

Here's more pics of Oliver Knott using this this plant. One of the pics was used by Tropica: http://www.pbase.com/plantella/hc60

Be aware there is a pest Utricularia that will hitch-hike with plants, and it's way less cool.

where do you buy this plant and how much lighting does it need?

Heh, you go to any country except the USA and order it from tropica.

Here is the info on lighting etc. that Tropica provided with the plant:

Last bladderwort (utricularia gibba) I had was from "the back yard". Very pretty flowers also. Many plants are natives and with a little leg work can yield some great finds.
